
DACA
DACA - American immigration program of Deferred Action for immigrants arriving as Children. This program is a US immigration policy that aims to protect from deportation thousands of young immigrants who arrived or stayed in the United States illegally before turning 16.
It is a program that temporarily protects you from deportation and grants you an employment permit upon meeting all the requirements.
You qualify if you meet several of the following requirements:
Under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012.
Currently studying or obtained a certification in the United States (high school, GED, university, etc.).
Having entered the country before the age of 16.
You must be a minimum of 15 years of age unless (exception) you are in Removal Procedure, under a Removal order, under a Final removal order or have a Voluntary Departure order. If so, you can apply for DACA before you turn 15 years old.
You belong or belonged to the ARMY (Armed Forces) of the United States, Marines or are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or the Armed Forces of the United States.
Be in the country continuously from June 15, 2007 to the present, and;
Not have a criminal record.
Since July 2021, no new DACA applications have been granted for the first time, they can only be renewed for now. First-time DACA applications are currently in limbo although Immigration will accept them but will not process them for now or in the future. This could change in the future.

Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is a temporary immigration benefit granted by the United States Government to eligible nationals of certain countries because conditions in that country prevent the country's citizens from returning safely.
Eligibility Requirements
Be a citizen of one of the designated countries.
Complete the Process during initial registration or new registration, or meet late filing requirements.
Be physically present and have continuously resided in the United States since the date the country was designated for TPS.
